Setting your timezone is important in Shopventory. Without a correct timezone, your time stamps and reports could be off significantly. This can also affect reporting.

Note: There are 2 timezones that need to be set:

  • The Location Timezone
  • The Default Timezone

The Location Timezone

Each location has its own timezone setting for logging sales and inventory updates. It is also used when viewing reports for that location.

Setting/Changing your Location Timezone:

  1. Go to the Locations & Integrations tab in the 'Settings' section of Shopventory
  2. Click on the Location Name
  3. Select the correct timezone from the dropdown
  4. Save the change

The Default Timezone

This time zone will be used when viewing reports for all locations at once. Anything that includes more than one location will rely on the Default timezone.

Setting/Changing the Default Timezone:

  1. Go to the My User Profile tab in the 'Settings' section of Shopventory
  2. Click on the dropdown to select your timezone
  3. Save the change

Having the right timezones means Shopventory will always be reporting the correct information for all your locations down to the minute!
