Shopventory's Low Inventory Reports show a current list of all products that are meeting alert criteria. "Low" means a different thing for each business, and for many Products/departments within that business. This is why you get to set the rules.

To get the most out of your low inventory report, head over to your Alerts section first and carefully define the "low" threshold for your Products (read more on that here). Note that Alerts are user-specific, so the Low Inventory Report is as well.

Pulling a Low Inventory Report

To view your Low Inventory Reports, simply go to the Reports section in Shopventory and click on the Low Inventory Report option. 

The report details shows all the Products that are currently under your custom Alert thresholds. Reports can be filtered by Category, and the search box can be used to filter by keyword as well.

Export / Print an Inventory Report

You will notice PDF and CSV options to export just below the date and time. 

  • The only time/date range option is the current moment when the Low Inventory Report is pulled. (Exports will be time-stamped)
  • Filters that have been applied on the page will be applied on export.
  • A PDF file is a better choice if you prefer to print a hard copy. 
  • A CSV file is a spreadsheet file format that is better if you plan to use a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel™ or Google Sheets™.

Pro-Tip: Use the Keyword Filter to search for specific Variants or Product groups.
