There are three types of pricing:

  • Fixed - This is the default and most common option. It just means the product has one price which is set.

  • Per Unit - This indicates the product is sold in units of measurement, (per pound, per gallon, etc.) Learn more

  • Variable - This means the price is entered in by the cashier when checking out.

How does it become "Variable" if the product was created in Thrive Inventory by Shopventory?

If a Variant is created in Thrive inventory with no price, then it is pushed to the provider with variable pricing selected.

How do I fix it?

Once the Product is in the POS with variable pricing, it must be changed to 'Fixed' pricing within your provider's inventory system.
