What does this task do?
If, for any reason the update process from Shopventory to the point of sale hasn't yet completed, the system will report those items as "un-synced". This task will manually push those items and variants to your enabled integrations.
In other words, this will manually trigger a task that already runs automatically. The system will skip any items that are already up to date.
Running the task
Simply go to Settings > Advanced in Shopventory and run the "Push all un-synced items & variants" task:
You can follow the syncing progress from your tasks page:
- If items are not appearing on the point of sale, follow the steps in this guide first: Items Not Syncing.
- This task will not override incorrect settings or enable items on an integration. (See: Initializing an Integration)
- This is not the same as syncing an individual Item from the Edit Item panel (step 5 in Items Not Syncing).
- This task should not be a part of your regular workflow. If you have to sync with regularity, please reach out and let us know.
