Shipping properties in Thrive Inventory by Shopventory include both dimensions (width, length, height and unit of measurement) and weight.


The integrations we connect to may have slightly different properties, which we'll explain in the following sections.


Dimensions (WooCommerce only)

  • Width x Length x Height — There is no particular order required since all three come up to the same total volume no matter the order.

  • Choose from inches or centimeters in the Unit dropdown.

  • Note: WooCommerce does NOT receive the Unit selected in Thrive Inventory by Shopventory, just the number values. The units in WooCommerce are set for the entire site in your WooCommerce settings. 

Shopify, Square, Clover, and PayPal Here do NOT support dimension data. You can still fill it in, but just be aware that only Thrive Inventory will have the data.


Weight (Shopify & WooCommerce)

  • Enter the total weight and choose your Unit.

  • Note: WooCommerce does NOT receive the Unit selected in Thrive Inventory, just the number values. The units in WooCommerce are set for the entire site in your WooCommerce settings.

Square, Clover, and PayPal Here do NOT support weight data. You can still fill it in, but just be aware that only Thrive Inventory will have the data.


"This product requires shipping" ON / OFF Toggle (Shopify)

Enabling the "This product requires shipping" toggle in Thrive Inventory will enable shipping in Shopify.

Here's what the toggle looks like on the Edit Product page of Thrive Inventory:

On Shopify, that toggle will enable shipping on both the Bulk Editor and Product Editor pages:

WooCommerce, Square, Clover, and PayPal Here do NOT support this toggle. You can still activate it, but just be aware that only Thrive Inventory will display the option.
