The Dead Inventory Report tracks inventory you have on hand that has not sold recently. Once you can clearly see what isn't selling, you can make more accurate decisions about clearance products or what not to order again.
With the Dead Inventory Report, you can easily see:
How much in revenue is tied up in your aging inventory
How much you paid for the inventory (if you have added costs to your Variants)
The number of days since the product last sold
The quantity of each product you have on hand
How to Pull a Dead Inventory Report:
To Access the Dead Inventory Report, simply go to the Reports section of Thrive Inventory by Shopventory and click on the Dead Inventory Report option.
There, you can customize the range of the report; what you are saying is, "Please show me all Products that have not sold for ____ days or more."
You can apply filtering by Category and Vendors or use the search box to check specific keywords.
NOTE: If you want to see a list of products that didn't sell for a specific date range, say last year's holiday season, you can generate an Unsold Product Report (for Professional Plans and above).
Exporting the Dead Inventory Report
You also have the export to CSV or PDF options that you have in the sales reports and inventory reports.
Filtering that is active on the page will be applied to the exports.
A PDF file is a better choice if you prefer to print a hard copy.
A CSV file is a spreadsheet file format that is better if you plan to use a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel™ or Google Sheets™.
